Paris, France

Image result for paris france
One of the places I would love to go someday is Paris France because it's is where most artist are in the world and has so much inspiration. Another thing that if I go to Paris, I want to learn about the culture and to speak french because it sound sophisticated and one of the languages i wanted to learn when I was little. France is one of the best tourism in the world.

Places in Paris

The places in Paris that I always wanted to go is the Eiffel Tower because when you say Paris, people say Eiffel Tower. The thing that I like about the Eiffel Tower is that it's nothing like other structures in the world. What makes it awesome is that the support of the structure is shown  and it has a different structure. The other structures that I want to see is Arch de Triomphe, the Louvre, Lille Grand Palais, and more.

What I love about France is the cultures it offers. From the language spoke, the food, fashion, art and more. Someday, I would love to learn to speak French because if i go to France, I need to know how to communicate and it's one on the languages I always wanted to learn. Right now, the only food I know that's from France is croissant and crepe. I would like to try more more foods, especially deserts and nit escargot. Paris, France is one of the fashion capital of the world. I'm not that into fashion that much and it seems cool there. The thing that I like most of France is art. Most famous artist are from France and in Europe. So if I had a chance to go, that would be one my priority is to learn about the arts in France.

Magazine Bowls

Magazine bowl is obviously a bowl made of magazine, of course.

* Magazine (one or two books)
* Bottled glue
* Scissors

         Step one is to gather all the materials listed above. Step two, cut the magazine in half verticaly ( you can tare every single page and cut it verticaly or use a paper cutter to make it easier). You can make it in patterns of colors or just random if you want. Step three, to make the base of the bowl take the half of the paper you just cutted and fold it in half and half again. Step four, put glue in one side of the magazine and stich it. Step five, roll the stripped of magazine into a circle or any shape you desire. Step six, to add more layer do the same thing before and stick the stripped of magazine to the first one. Step seven, do the same thing and over again until the size of the base is what you want.
          Step eight, to make the side of the bowl is almost similar to making the base. Step nine, glue half of the strip of magazine horizontallyand stick it to the base of the bowl. Step ten, do the same thing as step nine and do two layers to make stronger and thinker. Keep doing it till the hieght of the bow is what you want.

                Here's a video that close to what I did But alittle bit different

How to Shade

Do you know how to shade?

If not stay on this page to learn how. "Shading  is the darkening or coloring of an illustration or diagram with parallel lines or a block of color."

Shading from dark to light
In this lesson you will need a blank piece of paper and a pencil. Grab your pencil and press down as hard as you can make it. The movement of your arm should go up and down. To make it go from dark to light, go a little bit lighter eveytime you move your pencil fom left to right. Remember to make the beging part the darkest it can be. If it turns out bad keep trying because practice makes perfect. If your having a hrd time shading from left to right, try top to bottom instead. It's basically the same thing except your starting from the top and not left and your arm movement is left to right not up and down. Once again keep practicing if your having a hard time.

 How to make a Sphere

Parts of a Sphere
Now you know how to shade, lets try shading three demensional figures like a sphere. "A sphere is a round solid figure, or its surface, with every point on its surface equidistant from its center."

Just like the last time you will need a pencil, blank peice of paper, and this time you will also need a compass (a tool that makes circles) or and object that is a circle shaped. This might be a little hard for the beginners. Before starting , you will need to know the basic parts of the sphere. In your drawing you need to have a light source, highlight, mid tone, core tone, reflected light, and cast shadow. The light source is very important because whithout it, it won't show thw lightness and darkness part of the sphere. The highlight is where the light source is directly shinning on the top of the sphere. The core shadow is in the bottom of the sphere and is the darkest tone and the mid tone is obviosly the medium tone. The reflected light is where the light source is hitting a little bit of light at the bottom of the sphere. The last but not the least is the cast shadow, the cast shadow is the shadow the sphere. The cast shadow  is place depends on where your light source is. Example: The light source is on the top left, and the cast shadow is on the bottom right.

Start by drawing a circle using a compass or any object thay's a circle. Then decide where you want to put your light source. Where your light source is hitting will be the lightest part of your sphere. start from the bottom of the sphere and shade as how I told in the beginning but this time instead of making it straight, curved it to make it three demensional. Remember to have a reflected light in the bottom because it makes mor like a sphere. The last thing you need is a cast shadow, start close from the bottom of the sphere and go dark to light from left to right.

Copper Repouse

This artwork is a copper repousse. It was an art
copper_01project for my art class last year in eight grade.
Repousse is raised in relief by hammering on the reverse side. Copper repousse is a sculpture where the copper is stretch in  and out to give a three dementional feeling.
 To make the copper repousse, you will need a flat sheet of copper, copper tools, paper and pencil. First sketch a drawing of something that you want to be in the copper (the paper should be the same size as your copper sheet) then transfer it to the copper. To transfer it put the paper on top of the copper and outline it with pen (make sure press a little hard). When the lines are transfered use the copper tool you have and use it to stretch the copper. The parts of the copper that you want popping out you stretch in the back and the ones that you want not to pop out stretch from the front. Tip: don't stretch to much because the copper will ripped. When your done polish it.

 The border of copper repouse is made of thick sheet of black construction paper. To make the border of the copper repouse you'll need any colors of color pencils. To start designing the border, I contiued the copper lines and try to blend it and outlineit with bright colors.
